Road Home day 10 my plan for American exceptionalism.

I had one thought and one destination on my mind as I left my hotel. I was going to see the Great American Monument the one that puts all other monuments to shame. The Bass Pro shop pyramid. The physical manifestation of American exceptionalism. We named the town Memphis after the city in Eygpt then we built our own pyramid with Shimmering glass on the outside and a Mall for outdoor activities set around the interior. Bridges connecting the platforms on top of an artificial swamp with fake pigs and animals. The pyramid also had exhibits showing Gators, Huge Fish, and fake exhibits explaining how hunters and fishermen play a vital role in nature conservation. It’s a beautiful monument where the Ideas of American externalism, wildlife conservation, and Capilism intersect. A beautiful site that through its sheer grandeur forces one to be proud to be an American. The Bass Pro Shop Pyramid should serve as inspiration for other towns in America. Paris Texas should build a bigger Eiffel Tower! Athens Georgia should build a bigger Parthenon with wifi hotspots and Greek food courts! Moscow Idaho should build should Build a grander Saint Basial cathedral! Rome New York is Begging for a coliseum where we make homeless people fight for housing! Each site should have museums dedicated to the history of the culture of each monument. America isn't just a nation of immigrants we are the result of all of Western history and it’s up to us to one-up our ancestors. And let’s not stop with just the west let's name a town Beijing and build a bigger great wall! One that can actually be viewed from Space! in this way we can celebrate, mock, and improve on the cultures that came before ours.
